12.2012  Craig Technologies hosts a tour of the Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing Center (ADMC) on January 24th in partnership with Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) and Manufacturers Association of Central Florida (MACF).

10.2012  Craig Technologies is awarded work under the NASA Omnibus Multidiscipline Engineering Services (OMES) contract at Goddard Space Flight Center during the period of performance through May 2017. Craig Technologies will provide engineering support services to multiple organizations to enable future space & science missions to include study, design, systems engineering, development, fabrication, integration, testing, verification and operations of space flight, airborne and ground system hardware and software.

09.2012  Craig Technologies is consolidating their corporate headquarters and manufacturing division to occupy the former NASA Shuttle Logistics Depot (NSLD) building in Cape Canaveral, effective October 1st. The 161,000 SF facility will house the company’s administrative offices and over 2,000 pieces of specialized avionics manufacturing and test equipment, some once used to process orbiters and payloads during NASA’s Shuttle Program. 08.2012  Craig Technologies brings Open UMI™ to AUVSI 2012 in Las Vegas, August 6-8.

06.2012  Craig Technologies is expanding its manufacturing capabilities by negotiating a loan for 1,600 pieces of Space Shuttle processing equipment from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. Through a competitive Request for Information (RFI) process, the company signed a non-reimbursable Space Act Agreement with NASA giving the woman-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned firm full use privileges of the equipment currently housed at the 160,000 sq. ft. NASA Shuttle Logistics Depot (NSLD) in Cape Canaveral. The depot was once part of United Space Alliance’s Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) activities during the Shuttle Program. Read More..

05.2012  Craig Technologies earns AS9100C Certification! AS9100 is the Quality Management System Requirements for Design and/or Manufacture of Aerospace Products. The aerospace series of standards cover the complete spectrum of organizations working within the aerospace sector, from design and manufacture to maintenance organizations and distributors. Certificate FM583353 encompasses the entire scope of Craig Technologies’ full life-cycle systems development, systems engineering, software design, IT services, as well as precision manufacturing.

05.2012  Craig Technologies Senior Instructional Designer, Stanley Bunson, Ed. D., is published in Learning Solutions Magazine. Dr. Bunson’s article serves as a guide to conducting and reporting a training evaluation for eLearning.

05.2012  Team Craig (Craig Technologies and C2 Technologies, Inc.) was awarded a task order under the U.S. Army’s Training and Doctrine Command’s (TRADOC) Combined Arms Products for Distributed Learning (CAPdL) program indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract. The team will design, develop, test and field 24 asynchronous instructional hours of courseware to include training topics of basic supply, supply procedures, process organizational clothing procedures, and arms rooms procedures. Team Craig’s methodology is an integrated product team approach to involve and engage our customers to foster growth, manage change, and ensure quality through collaboration with our highly qualified training staff.

05.2012  Craig Technologies was awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract from the Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) Systems Center Atlantic. Under this contract, the SDVO firm will provide program management and integrated logistics in support of the Navy, and other Department of Defense and federal agencies with work taking place in Charleston, SC and Washington, DC. SPAWAR Atlantic designs, acquires, engineers and sustains the systems, sensor connections, cyber network infrastructures and knowledge management services to ensure reliable information for Navy personnel.

04.2012  Craig Technologies is named prime contractor for the Defense Information Systems Administration (DISA) Defense Enterprise Computing Center (DECC) Database Administration (DBA) and Database Management (DBM) contract, providing the DECC in Mechanicsburg, PA with database systems support services to ensure the Warfighter systems are available. The WOB has provided award-winning support to DISA DECC as a prime contractor since 2005.

Mark was awarded as honoree for his great leadership contributions to his community.
