Michael S. Ferree, PMP has been with Craig Technologies since 2006. Mike brings an extensive background in large data center operations within the DISA environment as well as a diverse commercial background. Over his career, Mike has provided Program & Project management and transition support to various customers to include DoD, NASA, Navy, Army, National Guard, and has been involved with many enterprise related activities.

Mike leant his expertise to DISA’s SMC in Mechanicsburg to support its goal of streamlining their help desk, operations, and network support areas into customer based support cells. Prior to this effort he was the project manager for the help desk at SMC Mechanicsburg, which was the leading call center for first call resolution in DISA. He has held various technical positions as a Remedy administrator and assisted DISA’s Remedy team to come up with solutions to improve their ticketing system. In addition, he was the systems administrator and programmer for the Teloquent Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) system that was used at SMC Mechanicsburg- this system was the first VoIP system to be used in a DISA Help Desk operation. Mike has worked with customers on control boards that are tasked with enterprise essential tools to ensure the functionality is maintained and mission to support the Warfighter has been met.

Mike has acted as the transition manager for multiple contracts and has managed to maintain a retention ratio of 97%. He has a background in computer programming which allows to him to use a logical approach to issues he encounters. His ability to recognize the customers’ big picture plans without losing sight of the basic operational details needed to achieve their goals, makes him a great company asset. Mike is currently working towards his ITIL certification.
