Charlie Huffine is Senior Advisor to the executive leadership of Craig Technologies. He has over 30 years Program Management, software & technical development, training support, systems security and strategic planning experience. He is also an operational systems integrator with a significant background in aviation, missile warning, space surveillance and intelligence systems. In addition, he has been the development program manager for several training systems associated with operational intelligence, space and C4I systems. A proven communicator, Charlie has experience briefing senior government and corporate managers on a variety of subjects including decision briefings at the highest levels of government, corporate project and business status reports and he has experience as a class room technical instructor. He has had numerous journal papers published and received the Alfred Thayer Mahan distinguished author award while attending the Naval War College.

Prior to joining Craig Technologies, Charlie supported the Army’s Battle Command Training Program, was the department manager and lead program manager for the software production efforts of several modeling and simulation programs being developed for the Department of Defense aviation, intelligence and space communities. He also led the strategic planning effort (and authored the long range plan) for several government agencies and programs including the Joint Forces Command’s next generation constructive training system and the first two U.S. Space Command long range training plans. He has written military Concept of Operations and master training plans at the Joint, service and organizational level.

Before entering the corporate world, Charlie had a successful career as a Naval officer. He exercised Combatant Command of U. S. Space Command’s assigned forces as the vice-director of Operation. Operationally, he served as both an aviation squadron and wing commander and was the Chief of Naval Simulations. Charlie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, a Masters degree in Systems Engineering and an M.B.A. degree. He also holds the internationally recognized systems security certifications Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and the technical computer certifications COMP TIA+ and Network +.
