12.2010 Craig Technologies was named “Business of the Year” for Technical-Manufacturing with over 101 employees by the Cocoa Beach Area Chamber of Commerce Better Business Development Council (BBDC). The BBDC works with the Better Business Bureau of Central Florida in the adherence to ethical business practices and BBDC business members have made a "Pledge of Excellence" by committing to ethical business practices. The Business of the Year awards program recognizes those businesses who exemplify the same standards.

This is the second year in a row that Ms. Craig is recognized for the award. The award is part of the National Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week activities, designed to recognize owners of minority small business for their individual achievements and contributions to the nations economy.

Craig Technologies employees work with configuration and data management, integrated scheduling, risk management and administrative support to the development, analysis, and tracking of Constellation Ground Operations risks.
The work performed at Kennedy Space Center by Craig Technologies employees has been recognized in the past by KSC program leaders, including the September 2008 accolades given by Philip E. "Pepper" Phillips, the Director of the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) Constellation Project Office (LX). Carol Craig has led Craig Technologies from a home-based consultant business to a nationally recognized technical services and engineering firm, providing support to high-profile customers such as NASA, U.S. Air Force, Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), and U.S. Joint Forces Command.
Craig’s military background as a Naval Flight Officer and Department of Defense software engineer armed her with the leadership skills and technical savvy to overcome the challenges presented to women and minorities starting their own business.
